One week ago we had a great day of achievement in our family, Allen graduated from the Appalachian School of Law. He worked and studied very hard over the last three years in order to earn this degree and we are so very proud of him!!!! We are thankful for supportive parents who sacrificed a lot to join us on this special day. Also, two of Allen's good friend, Ryan and Spencer both drove and flew long distances to help celebrate with us. THANK YOU!!!!! After graduation we finished packing and cleaning the house and started on an interesting adventure. The drive to NH took only two days and boy did the girls have a good time riding in the Penske rental truck. We had a lot of fun using the walkie-talkies (thanks, Kevin and Tonya!)

Here is a picture of our first home in New Hampshire. It has been an interesting week with a rollercoaster of emotions. The apartment we had set up to move into fell through when we got up here so we have been living at the Fairfield Inn in Concord for the last 6 days. Tomorrow we are fortunate enough to be able to temporarily rent a home from a member of the church until we find something more permanent. Thankfully my parents were nice enough to take our three girls for a couple of days in order for us to straighten things out. It has been a blessing that the girls are still young enough that they really don't understand what's going on....(they think it's still a vacation!)

Today we took a day off and spent some time having fun before grandma and grandpa had to leave. We went to Seacoast Science Center at Odiorne Point State Park. The girls had a great time looking at several tide pool animals, such as starfish, sea urchins, and other underwater critters, in the touch tank. Liz was adamant that she was NOT going to stick her hand in the water! We had a great time learning about everthing that goes on in the sea. Afterwards, we walked down to the ocean and took pictures while the girls collects sea shells.

I couldn't help but post some pictures of our girls. They are so beautiful!

YAY! A new post! Good to hear the girls are still excited about the "vacation"!
Congrats Allen! What an achievement! Talk about hard work!
What a bummer about the housing situation - good luck with that (we haven't made it to boise yet so we dont have our housing figured out either).
Your girls ARE beautiful! Give them hugs for me!
It's so nice to get an update. Hope things get settled soon! Congrats to Allen on his graduation. Lizzie and Kason are opposites--he sticks his hands in to feel the sea creatures for hours on end, and wild horses can hardly drag him away. Sarah has beautiful eyes! We miss you guys.
Kari and Allen, it was fun being with your family. The trip was great. We really enjoyed having the girls for a few days. They are all great troopers for driving in the car so much and putting up with Grandpa and Grandma's stops at our old house in Durham, the church in Portsmouth, Pettie Brook, and Bavarian Auto. McDonalds and playing in the park helped alot.
We are glad you are partially settled. Excited to see where you move next. Hope to see you possibly in September.
Those are super cute pictures of the girls. I love the one with Sarah touching the outside of the tank! Can't wait to visit you.
Kari, you have such a beautiful family and congrats to Allen for his achievement. School is hard and to be apart would make it even harder. I can't wait to see more pics. I would love to stay in a hotel so I wouldn't have to cook!
Love ya, Marci
Kari,
Your family is sooo beautiful. All your pictures of your girls are so great. Wish we were closer so our girls could play together. I love your blog. Love and miss you, Lori
